Offseason came and went. Ready for a new season of hockey and I am ready to hit the ice.
I skated with so many great players this summer and am ready to test my new skills with new teammates.
2022-2023 Season:
Last year was a season of inner growth and stamina. It was not a winning season, but it did test my inner will and drive. I grew as a player during the year.
I am looking forward to challenging myself at becoming a better all around player and to great opportunities in the future. My goal for this season is to advance my way to an NAHL team. We need goals in order to make us better and challenge ourselves to do better.
After the NA3HL and NAHL, I plan to play at the collegiate level as I continue to pursue my goals.
2023-2024 Season:
Preparing for the collegiate level hockey. I look forward to the spring and summer months to prepare for my next phase of playing.
I have been on skates since I could walk and playing hockey ever since.
I have played every position in hockey during my years, yes even goalie for a short brief moment. I spent a year playing defense to perfect my game and skating. I learned what it was like from all angles of the game. The next year I was able to provide my team an all around player who could jump in wherever the team needed a player, from center to wing to defense. My favorite (and probably best) position is playing center.
My nickname is "The Alaska Mosquito." If you have ever been to Alaska in the summer, you know exactly what that means. I am able to move across the ice, break up plays, steal the puck and break away to score a goal. I get little to no penalty minutes, and our PK (which I was on first line) for my last season as an 18U player was 96%!
Coaches call me a "200 foot player." My playing is felt throughout the rink.
I was born in Suwon, South Korea. I was adopted at the age of 6 months and my parents brought me to Anchorage where I lived the first 10 years of my life. I still call Anchorage home.
I smile ALL of the time while on the ice playing hockey...check out my photos!
